When we started cycling almost 4 years ago, neither of us ever imagined that we would one day be able to travel to a foreign country to race bikes. Last week, both of us were selected to race in Canada with a team to represent the United States in The Tour de l'Abitibi. The Tour de l'Abitibi is the largest and most competetive race for 17-18 year olds in North and South America, with some 180 international participants. After years of hard work and complete dedication to the sport, our dream has come true and we have been given a incredible opportunity to travel to Canada and race at The Tour de l'Abitibi. Reaching this level has not been possible without the huge support of our family and friends in so many ways.
Cycling has opened so many doors for us. We've gained confidence, knowledge and ability as well as being able to travel to places we never thought we would go and meet people we had never dreamed of meeting. Cycling has changed my life.
In order to pursue our dreams and begin racing at a higher level, we need your help again. Anything that you can contribute helps us pay for travel, race entry fees, and other expenses that are a part of international racing. We appreciate you considering our request and thank you for all the prayers, good wishes and encouragement for this next step!
