Cut Cancer's Cost

My name is Lori & I am a proud survivor of a rare soft tissue cancer: Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans. I was blessed that my cancer could be addressed with a solely surgical treatment plan, but 9 surgeries (2 to remove the tumors & 7 to reconstruct a large section of my forehead & scalp) were still incredibly expensive. I've paid a little over $9000 toward my surgical bills at this point, & at the request of several beautiful friends was asked to create this page to help make a dent in the remaining $7641. Unfortunately, I also have two more tumors in my abdomen, that may or may not also be cancerous. We are having surgery #10 on 08/23/17 to take them out & run the pathology. There will be more expense added to my growing balance from this procedure, so any help of any kind is so very appreciated!I plan to make a cancer ribbon coaster out of Mardi Gras beads for every donor of $20or more, a larger piece of bead art for donations over $100 & every donor will get a personal note of thanks from me. Thank you in advance for helping me to cut the cost of cancer! While this journey has been a blessing in many unexpected ways, the burden of the bills is one I look forward to having lightened.
