Dave’s Journey

what happened:
went to rinse off at the creek, we walked across the creek & we all walked through 6 inches of water except where dave walked it was deeper. we were on the bank that is even with the water. he got a running head start & dove into the water thinking it was the deeper part & it wasn’t. he hit his head on the bottom & instantly went numb all over.

The kids pulled him out as he was drowning. He broke his neck. He had to have emergency surgery to remove the C5 vertebra and put a cage and plate in. On Wednesday they went in to decompress c4,C6 and C7. He was paralyzed at first from the chest down after their first surgery he got feeling to his waist. Everyday there is a lot of up and downs! Please continue the prayers.  

Although Dave has made progress, there’s still a road to travel! His mom is not leaving his side.  Prayers and support are the most powerful gifts you can give, however they aren’t gonna pay the bills. If we can help take a piece of that burden off of her then let’s do it!  If you see it in your heart to donate any amount with be much appreciated and Blessed by God!
