A689 safety survey fund

The community of Wynyard is split by the A689 which is a busy dual carriageway. We are raising funds to carry out an independent safety survey of a roundabout on this road which parents have to use to take their children to school. The survey results will hopefully force the local authority to install traffic lights and reduce the speed limits. This roundabout has cars approaching it as very high speeds in a 70 mile zone. We have raised some funds already via our local Parish Council but need more to pay for the survey. One child has already been injured trying to cross this roundabout we don't want the next one to be killed. We would be grateful for any and all contributions as we feel very strongly that lives depend on the roundabout being made safe.
