Honeymoon, 37 years in the making !

Thank you for your financial support and continued prayers. Most of all, thank you for believing in my Dad, a man many of you have not even met.
Christy (on behalf of Hyun family)
My Dad was rushed to the ER on Friday because he wasn't eating/drinking for a few days. A side effect of cervical spine radiation treatment is difficulty swallowing, like a choking sensation. He's NPO, therefore getting his fluids/nutrients via IV. They ran a series of blood tests and the results came back clean, to the doctors' surprise (we attribute it to an organic/alkaline diet!). He is stable and will stay at the Mayo Clinic Hospital through the weekend, then seek specialists on Monday morning (because "they don't work on weekends", I'm told); of them, we anticipate the IR for PEG tube ASAP. He is currently sleeping peacefully with a CPAP mask on his face as I type this update. My sister and I will spend every night by his side to offer support and be his voice.
He has 3 more radiation treatments lined up, followed by intra-thecal chemo. Cancer may be war, but we have our army of supporters, doctors, family, medicine, prayer ready for battle. WE WILL GIVE IT OUR ALL.
On a happier note, I'm planning a honeymoon for my parents as soon as my Dad feels better. The vow renewal was just the tip of the iceberg. Every penny from this honeymoon fund will go towards the trip of a lifetime. Although you can’t see me, I'm doing a happy dance and smiling ear to ear! :)
We have almost reached our target goal... only $1143 more to go! Please help spread the word and share the link: http://www.gofundme.com/a5cypc
Thank you for your kindness!
Lately, he has difficulty swallowing, and all his neurological function has been compromised. We see promises of hope every now and again, but they are few and far between. No major changes, but he's holding up with the treatment. We are continuing with the organic / alkaline diet, and have added a few supplements, including fucoidan (seaweed extract, anti-oxidant) , Korean red ginseng, and many herbs such as Graviola (cancer fighting, otherwise known as soursop).
Crying would be the easy way out, but I refuse to answer to this disease. I am fighting for my Dad as he's done for me my entire life! He's the one person who has given me wings to fly from a young age. I believe in Superman because my Dad is the hero in my life. Thank you for supporting his cause, and please share the link so that we can perhaps reach the target amount and surprise him with a trip of a lifetime! I can already see the smile on his face! http://www.gofundme.com/a5cypc
