Ascension Catholic-ACE Fundraiser 2020

In order to strengthen Ascension’s mission and to provide its students with the best learning environment possible, we are asking the Alliance for Catholic Educations (ACE) and its supporters to help us raise money to strengthen the STEM program here at Ascension.

The ACE program is a two-year fellowship in which participants teach all across the country while working toward a Master of Education degree from the University of Notre Dame. At Ascension Catholic, two of our teachers participate in this program, and won the bid to host the ACE Marathon Fundraiser

The ACE Marathon is a fundraiser put on by the ACE teachers every year at one of the schools in which they work. This year the ACE teachers at Ascension are hosting the fundraiser for Ascension Catholic High School. 

What that means is that ACE teachers from all over the country will be flying in for the Louisiana Marathon taking place from January 17-19. Each teacher is tasked with raising money that will then be donated to Ascension Catholic High School.
