No Work due to Chemotherapy

I have bladder cancer again, after 16 years it's come back, fine! I'll deal with it, Had surgery to remove a tumor that came out fine, but, the cancer had gone into the next layer of tissue. My Dr put me on BCG treatment agan ( I did this 17 years ago) I had no adverse reactions to it then, however he pointed out that it was 17 years ago and I'm not young. I am determined to beat this again! However I did not book any work for November or December so I have no money coming in. Trust me I would much rather work but I didn't want to cancel work if I had adverse reactions to the chemotherapy. After 4 treatments out of 6 nothing adverse has happened. This is embarassing to say the least, I wanna work, but things just don't always fall into place. So if you can spare  anything it would truly be appreciated, if you can offer me work as a comic I'd gladly take that. Anyway thats the story so far and thank you. Cancer Sucks and I'm gonna kick it's ass!
