Help Happy

I hate needing to ask for help. However Happy, our English Bulldog, really needs your help. Dan and I would appreciate any help so much. My  ex husband and I share him, He is such a special friend to us and so many of our friends. Pet insurance isn’t a thing around us, and Neither myself nor happys dad, like most of the working middle class have much disposable income at this point in our lives. Happy went into the emergency vet today, Saturday evening ( on of course a holiday weekend, to ice the financial cake)  After bloodwork, X-rays, ekg,  lidocaine to lower his heart rate which was at 320! And fluids We were told he has bacterial pneumonia. So before even starting any real treatment we were $811 deep.  Happy has a lot of excess fluid surrounding his heart, lungs and abdomen. He is staying at the vet as he is to unstable to leave.   He had very few signs of sickness until last night. His treatment over the next few days  is critical to whether he will pull through. The alternative was to put him down. He is only 8 years old. We refuse to give up on him, but need your help.
