A Week With My Father or "AWWMF" …is a reality television pilot that reunited a son with his long lost father. The men spent one week together, enjoying targeted activities, talking about their lives apart, and reconnecting. At the end of the pilot, the men decided whether or not they wanted to continue their relationship…
The show was created by myself, Giacomo Knox, and Co-Executive Produced by Julie House, and Directed by Andre Mayers. It features me and my father James Knox reuniting after 33 years apart.

In 1998, on FATHERS DAY, I first contacted my father, having heard from a cousin on dad's side, that he was still alive. Seven years later we flew my dad to Los Angeles, and shot the pilot.
Since then, we've had a whirlwind of successes and challeges. Winning a development contract with Red Arrow International at the 2011 New York Television Festival was the pinnacle. Unfortunately, Red Arrow was unable to find a network to host our project, and cancelled our contract in May of 2014.
Similar near-misses and maybe's and outright no's have come and gone over the years. Now...we're going rogue...independent...just like we did in the beginning...and we need your HELP.
More sons AND daughters need to meet their fathers, so they can hear his side of the story, and then make their own decisions about their fathers.
The money we're raising from this gofundme appeal will be used to go into Development mode and within 9 months, shoot eleven (11) more episodes independently. Our eventual goal would be to sell a package of 12 episodes to the networks and establish international distribution.
My father James passed away in December of 2016.
How many more fathers will pass away without hearing "Dad, I love you and I forgive you"? How many more sons and daughters won't be able to ask their fathers why he wasn't in the picture?
The TIME has come...Way too many people will spend Fathers Day and other holidays with unanswered questions about their fathers, or might even want to confront their fathers with those questions.
