Zach and Sarah are at it again...adoption #3 is in route!!!

It is the last day of February and the phone rings.  An adoption agency is on the other end of the line and are asking Zach and Sarah to consider an adoption case they have regarding a little girl due in July.  The agency asked them to take a couple of weeks to think about it, but as you can imagine, how in the world would you say "no" to that!  So they didn't, after a couple weeks of prayer they said "YES"!!!  Can we say AWESOMENESS (is that even a word?)?!  You get my point, the amount of excitement and joy can't be contained.  God has hand picked another beautiful child just for them!  And now as we are all over here doing our happy dance, the reality of it is, there is still lots of work and little time to make that "yes" come to fruition!

From the moment they said yes, this only gives them a little over 4 months to get paperwork filled out, home study complete, and come up with a large amount of money.  I don't know how well you understand the adoption process (I'm still trying to understand myself), but it requires lots of documents and lots of money! We can't help much on the document end, but we can sure help rally on the money end.  As family and friends, we have the opportunity to unite and support them; how cool is that?!  The Lord can use you and I to help the very process that brings their baby girl home.  So who's in?!

Adoption is one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced and I'm just on the outside of it all. It has not only been the very thing that has grown their family, but also the very thing that has grown our hearts! Thank you Jesus for this precious gift; thank you for choosing to adopt us as your own, and allowing Zach and Sarah that same privilege for this little girl!

Romans 8:15 says "So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
