A Seed Of Hope for my 3 year old Daughter

On Wednesday November 25th, we received some horrific news, our baby girl, only 3 years old, has been diagnosed with Cancer. In a matter of hours our entire lives changed. Up until Wednesday, Jeneva Nelson has been a sweet, playful, and healthy 3 year old. On the night of Nov 24th she experienced a fever and vomiting... Early Wednesday morning, she was crying out in pain while laying in bed, unable to sit up, I went to rub on my daughter’s stomach to comfort her, only to find a hard mass there. Shocked and scared, We rushed her to the ED, where they took x-rays and bloodwork... and from there, she was transported to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, where we received the horrific news, and she was admitted. This is where we spent Thanksgiving and we are still here fighting. There is a long road of recovery for us ahead with surgery, tests and chemotherapy/radiation, among other trials and tribulations. I am praying daily for healing for my baby. Due to Covid and needing to be out of work as of right now, I can only anticipate some financial need and in the near future. I once heard that “if we all do a little, then none of us have to do a lot”. We ( my family) certainly will need a little prayer, a little support and a little grace to get ALOT of healing, through this season.
