A Major Victory

In late October our best friend and bandmate Michael Leavy was diagnosed with colon cancer. He was admitted to the hospital on November 29th for 2 surgeries to remove the tumor, which were successful and from which he is still recovering. This coming week he begins a 6-month course of treatment consisting of chemotherapy and radiation to kill off the remaining cancer cells that are left in his body. It will be a difficult time for Mike but he is going to spend every waking moment doing whatever he can to beat this cancer.

Your generous support will help defray the huge financial burden the treatment is placing on Mike and his family. Mike spent fourteen days in the hospital as an inpatient for his surgeries and recovery, battling complications and infection. He has also had numerous doctor and hospital visits for various diagnostic testing and procedures. The cost of this treatment is staggering but your support can truly help Mike defeat this cancer and offset the financial hardship he is facing.
