What Is V Up To?
Those of you who know me are familiar with my passion for creative writing. I've been working for a long time now to exercise my own craft, and a great amount of my time and dedication has gone into years of writing, editing, rewriting and re-editing. While I write in many genres and on many platforms, my most developed works are in fantasy fiction novels. I enjoy working through the intricacies of world-building and the several detail-oriented styles that are needed for this specific genre. And now, I am finally ready to take some serious steps toward putting my books on the shelves! But as with all writing, it is always a great benefit to have a sharp, professional eye to double check that things are ready to be submitted.
The Book That Started It All
Darkness Ascending (formerly known as Silver Nights to those of you who read the rudimentary draft years ago) is the book I am hoping to soon get printed, the first book in an ambitious multi-series saga called The OtherWorld Chronicles. The first draft was written in my 5th-grade year, complete at a mere 26 pages. Now, nearly ten years later, Darkness Ascending has flourished into a 250+ page book with several dynamic characters and a driven, exciting plotline.

End Goal
Scribendi is an editing and proofreading service that offers a package deal of roughly $1,500. This package includes an ultimate proofread and editing with tracking notes on comprehension and fluidity, a query letter to help with catching the attention of potential literary agents, and both a synopsis and outline of my work. Raising the goal will help get me another step closer to achieving my dream of becoming a published offer, and even a donation of $1 would mean the absolute world to me.
