My name is Carla, I am 17 years old, I live in France, and I have SMA disease.
Today I need your help to save my life, my future, and my hopes.

SMA is a degenarative genetic disease, affecting many babies and children around the world. Born seemingly healthy,
children affected by this disease rapidly lose their physical and respiratory capacity.
Today there is a new treatment called "spinraza" in the USA, but its very very expensive.
I need 6 injections the first year and 2 to 3 injections the next coming years. There is no insurance company that covers this treatment. My mother is a single parent and unfortunately cannot afford the cost. It is extremely urgent for me to receive this treatment, I can barely move anymore and my dream is to continue my studies and to regain mobility of my arms and legs. I believe in this treatment but i desperately need your help.
