A Heart For Michael and His Road To Recovery

Hi everyone, we are Michael's sister (Charlotte) and cousin (Camilla) and our loved one has been diagnosed with a traumatic illness which requires major heart surgery. Because of the surgery and the extensive recovery period he will be unable to work for a long period of time.

This is my story. I was born with heart disease that went undetected for 49 years without any type of heart surgery. Overtime my heart became weaker and weaker causing my kidneys  not to function properly.  My kidneys are failing, now in stage three. I will be undergoing open heart surgery. Doctors will place a L-Vad pump in my heart which will release the pressure off of my heart, and help with the blood flow while I wait for a heart transplant. I will be in an induced coma for two weeks on a breathing machine after the surgery. I will have a long road to recovery and will need help. Thank you in advance and God Bless you all.
