As a club man, rower and sweep, Tommy Hand has given so much to so many over a lifetime. He is a life member at Dee Why, Queensie's coaching mentor and friend to many on the Northern Beaches (or not.... depending on how the race ends...).
Having worked in the 50's and 60's across building sites with asbestos, dust has caught up to him and he is not able to get in the boat as often as he would like.
"A Hand for Tommy" is our way to give back to the Hand family and say thank you for everything he does.
