A Golden Ticket

He's got a golden ticket!!!



THANK YOU everyone for helping make Charlie's wish come true...Charlie has his ticket and is on his way to Chavez Ravine for today's Game 2 of the World Series!!! I know he is quite moved by this kind gesture from so many friends-thanks for being a part of the magic! We love ya Pikas family!

My friend and colleague Charlie Pikas is one of the most generous guys I know.  If you're reading this, I bet you already know that Charlie is the first to go out of his way to volunteer and help our students, staff, friends, community organizations, strangers, you name it!  It's time to show Pikas some love back folks!  

I'm sure Charlie is mortified that I've created this, but I don't care.  He deserves to enjoy at least a fraction of the generosity he so graciously shares with others.  PLEASE help make PIKAS' dream come true, and join me in sending him to a World Series game this season!

As much as it pains me that he has such bad taste in baseball teams, this guy is so cool, I just can't help being happy for him that the Dodgers finally didn't choke, and made it to the World Series!  Let's do something special for him that he's too selfless to do for himself!
