We have some really exciting news...
A Drinking Game NYC has been accepted to the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival!!
(^^^That’s in SCOTLAND! Inconceivable!)

This is an amazing step forward for ADG. It is an opportunity to show our fellow film fanatics across the pond what we’re all about: movies, games, beer, community, and above all, FUN. There won’t be anything else like it at the festival, so we have a chance to stand out and grow our already-amazing fan base.
Gratitude
Speaking of our fan base: YOU are the greatest treasure in all the land. Our shows succeed because you’re all so GAME - quoting along, singing to the soundtrack, reminding us of the rules (“Drink!”) and laughing at all of our fourth-wall-breaking and tipsy screwups. Your support and enthusiasm has inspired us to take on this next challenge. So, from all of us at ADG, thank you for being a part of the silliness.

What We Do
For those of you unfamiliar with our format, here it is in a nutshell: talented actors, with scripts in hand, recreate cult classic films for a live audience. One night only. A new show every month. Each movie comes with a list of buzzwords and phrases. When you hear one, a bell rings and everybody drinks! The actors are in on the fun, too - every time their characters’ names are spoken, it’s bottoms up for them as well. So as the night goes on, things start to get a bit zany.
We love movies, and our aim is to lovingly recreate the films we all grew up on - with a twist. We also love people, and our shows have proven to be a wonderful way to bring people together in the name of community and shared childhood memories.

Our Plan at the Festival
We’re aiming to bring five different shows over to the Fringe for a total of fifteen performances from August 2nd - August 21st. These include The Princess Bride, Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Goonies, and Monthy Python and the Holy Grail.
Cost Breakdown
Roads? Where we’re going… we actually WILL need roads… and flights… and other things…

-Venue Fringe (VAT Inc.) - $5,000
-Insurance - $925
-Fringe Application Fee - $455
-Producing Costs - $3,500
-Materials - $2,600
-Advertising - $3,275
-Flights for 10 people - $10,000
-Accommodation for 10 people - $10,000
Conclusion
We are humbly inviting you all to be a part of a major step forward for ADG. Bringing this show to audiences overseas will help build our fanbase, further define our style, challenge us to be better, and enable us to share a little more laughter and True Love.
