A TREATMENT FOR TORI!

Almost 30 years ago, my husband Marc and I met an incredibly talented girl who became not just a lifelong friend, but a sister to me. All she ever wanted to do was make people smile and for them to take in some happiness for just a moment. But, before I get into why I created this fundraiser for her, I want you to know a little bit about Tori.
She has been performing professionally since age 13, was Miss Broward County 1994 and was a ‘Lead Talent’ for Disneyland, Radio Disney and Disney Studios LA/ California. She has had an amazing career but too long of a career to talk about here (get to know Tori more at www.torivelle.com). Currently, she is being sought after for a new musical she wrote while suffering through chemotherapy which you can check out on www.ithemusical.com SO PROUD! She has created many theatre programs around the nation and has brought the arts to life in so many hearts. She has fundraised for and created many beautiful children’s books for charities such as --Feeding America (Maria Quezada wrote the forward ), Alex's Lemonade Stand (Bailee Madison wrote the forward), Special Olympics and in conjunction with ScentsAbility Candles, created a holiday music CD to help raise money for those with special needs. Later, as a theatre teacher and director, she not only well-educated her students but through her passion, guided them into finding their own voices; tapping into unrealized potential and encouraging them...that no matter how sad or dark the world can get...to spark light into peoples lives through the positive use of their talents.
Tori is also a mother of four beautiful children and has an incredible husband who relentlessly continues to keep Tori’s world revolving as comfortably and joyfully as he can for just over two years ago, she discovered she had colon cancer. A year later, uterine cancer. A month later, a recurrence of colon cancer. She underwent multiple surgeries followed by two treacherous chemotherapy treatments only leaving her with permanent neuropathy in her legs and feet. After suffering with cancer three separate times in two years, alongside failed chemo treatments, Tori decided she needed to take a different approach but this approach is very costly and why I created this Go-Fund-Me for her. She is on a waiting list for clinical research and a holistic facilty in which insurance will not cover. Please know that through all of this, Tori has never stopped giving to others and has never requested or expected anything in return —and would never be able to ask for donations from anyone for herself. She genuinely doesn't see all of the wonderful things she has done and doesn't know what an incredible and humble person she is, inside and out. Please help me give back to her and help her get the treatment she needs to keep being the shining light in so many lives.
