A courageous 8 gunshot survivor

*****Update*****
My name is Pravesh Nepal. I am originally from Nepal and currently living in Irving, TX. I am running this campaign on behalf of Jwala Karki, whom I know through Nepalese community (facebook group) network called UNHN (US Nepal Help Network). I am the admin of the facebook group(UNHN) where around 20,000 Nepalese residing in United States are the active members. I was contacted by her husband (Saroj Sapkota) about the incident, and went to hospital to get details about the incident. After talking to her and her husband(Saroj Sapkota), we decided to initiate this gofundme campaign to assist her during her recovery and rehabilitation. Jwala's husband has been added as the beneficiary to this campagin because Jwala does not have SSN which is required by GoFundMe to add as the beneficiary. The funds collected during this campaign will be withdrawn and directly transferred to Jwala's husband (Saroj Sapkota) personal account.

It was around 9 O'clock on Oct 29, 2017, when all this happened unusually.
Jwala Karki, age 24, originally from Chauthe 14, Pokhara, Nepal who is an international student pursuing her bachelor's degree in EL Centro College located in Dallas, Texas had to face 7 bullets while waiting for her roommate in the apartment's laundry room on last Sunday night. Nonetheless, she survived miracally.

She came her home bit earlier that night from work and realized she had no key to open the door. She then called her roommate to inform that she was waiting in the laundry room near to the apt.

At the meantime, a black boy (aged around 15) came with the gun on his hand and asked for the mobile phone and wallet she had, pointing the gun towards her. She had no idea what was going on as she was still talking on the phone.

She looked towards that black guy and thought he must be playing with her.
Before she could speak a word, the first bullet struck her chest. She cried for help but that black guy kept on shooting at her vigorously.

She was bleeding all over the laundry room. That guy fired almost all the bullets he had in his gun out of which 8 struck her body. But luckily none of the shots were above her neck.

She has now 15 holes in her body. Out of 8 gunshots, she has
2 gunshot on her thigh, 1 on the chest, 1 on the waist, 2 on each side of her breasts, 1 on left shoulder and another 1 on the back side of her right shoulder.

She felt on the ground straightaway and all she could see and the smell was her own blood all over the floor. But she never gave up her hope and didn't even close her eyes till the doctors took out 2 bullets from her body.

Then she was immediately taken to Parkland Hospital in Dallas with the help of a Mexican and a Filipino guy who called 911 for her. A dozen of doctors were already fully prepared for the operation when she was taken to the operation theatre.

Next she opened her eyes, she was in ICU room where and when she knew she was finally alive. She survived the death. But as the bullets passed her waist, she has deep injuries in her intestine and is undergoing treatment with chest tube attached to her chest. Doctors are saying that she is doing really great and her condition is improving day by day. Doctors say that they have seen a very rare case like this. They strongly believe that she is alive because of her willingness to live, a strong determination she has and the courage to overcome such intolerable pain which very few people are able of.

The suspect is not identified yet and the news is still in shadow. The investigation should be going on and hopefully police will be able to catch the suspect very soon. Now its time to  help our sister with how much we can and let live her life like normal.

She may not be able to work for months because of several injuries in her body and especially in her chest and intestine.
She still needs to go to college and complete her graduation after being able to walk properly.
She needs to pay for her accommodation and living by herself.
She also needs to look after her family back home at the time of need.
There are a lot of expenses in abroad that an international student has to bear in order to sustain.

The collected fund will be deposited in the victim's personal bank account and transparency will be maintained 100%.

Therefore I, as her big brother by heart and as an initiator of this case request everyone globally to share this link and to donate as much as you can to this great WARRIOR and a SURVIVOR who conquered VICTORY over DEATH.
She is a real hero and an inspiration to UNHN (US-Nepal Help Network), most of the youths  today and she deserves to live happily and healthily the rest of her life.
