12 years ago, my wife was a vicim of a drunk driver. She survived but has struggled with epilepsy since. In search for a skilled neurosurgeon willing to operate on her, we travelled to California, living in our van. Brandi has been in the hospital for a week and may soon have the operation.
On Sunday, Dec 22, someone stole our van from the hospital parking lot. Inside was not only everything we owned but our 7 month old puppy who we were training to become a service animal. The loss is devastating. The police have told us that recovering our vehicle isn't likely and our little Scrappy has yet to found.
We have nothing. When my wife is released from the hospital, she doesn't even have clothes to wear. We are asking for donations to help replace the few essentials we lost, specifically clothing and identification. Thank you.
