Send Ashlee to A Cappella Academy

Hi, my name is Ashlee Blanton, and I am a junior at Midlothian High School in Texas. Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I started out at the age of 13, singing on the worship team every Sunday at church. As time went by, I started auditioning for plays, solos, musicals, etc. I felt I had finally found my voice.

I had heard about A Capella Academy through one of the co-founders, Avi Kaplan, of Pentatonix. (It's no secret, I'm a HUGE Pentatonix fan!!) Auditioning had always been a dream of mine, but I never got the courage, until this year. In December, I sent in my audition video, you can find it here (https://youtu.be/tw-WeS1J540 ) and I anxiously waited for the results. I WAS ACCEPTED!!! 78 out of 588 auditioners were accepted into this phenomenal program, and I was one of them! What an honor!

A Capella Academy is a summer retreat that takes place in Los Angeles, California. While there, I will get the opportunity to be mentored by some of the most talented musicians in the industry. The tuition for this camp is $1995, which includes room and board, food, transportation to and from LAX to camp grounds, and all educational purposes. It does not include roundtrip airfare. By donating, you are helping me achieve my goal by raising enough money to attend this amazing camp.
