A BrailleNote computer for student

Hello, we are Lucy, Rebecca and Emma. We are currently in 8th grade, and eat lunch together everyday.   We are trying to raise money for a BrailleNote for our friend who has been blind since birth.  Last week we asked her what she wanted for her birthday.  She said, “the thing I really want for my birthday is my own BrailleNote.  But I know I’ll never get that because it is $5,000.”  Her birthday is December 31st and we, as her friends, we would really like to make this happen for her.  This is where we could really use your help.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated and get us closer to our goal.

A BrailleNote is pretty much a computer for the blind. You can do many different things on it like email, search the web, use a scientific calculator, and much more. It really helps blind students in school and the one that the school loans her keeps breaking down.
