A Banana Slug's Return to University!

In June of 2018, I got to walk the stage at UC Santa Cruz, excited to graduate! Unfortunately, life hit my family and I hard that summer, and I wasn't able to sustain myself financially to finish my last term that summer at UC Santa Cruz.
After driving for Lyft for the past year, I'd love nothing more than to return to school and finish my Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and I need your help to do it.
This fundraiser will go towards paying student fees at UC Santa Cruz, as well as funding the last three summer session classes I need to finish.
After completing my degree, I plan on pivoting into a recruiting role in San Francisco, and help guide new people with a smashing onboarding experience. As a first generation, LGBT Latino, I feel that I can offer a unique perspective into the hiring the talent of today and tomorrow, and I can't wait to get there.
