Hospital Chaplaincy

Whilst training to become an Army Pilot, I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety. It was revealed later that my mental illnesses were connected to a large tumour growing in my brain - and had been growing for years. Now, my life has embarked on an entirely new path, and I require financial support and assistance to successfully navigate this journey, and ultimately achieve what I view to be God's plan for my life.

Hi, my name is Zack Hankin. I am 23 years old and will likely die from cancer before I am 35. Although people may read my story and pity me, I have gained a new perspective on God's will for me and I now see my circumstances as a blessing.

My goal is to move into a lifetime of pastoral care and ministry, helping other youth and young adults suffering from cancer and mental illness and share with them the glory and power of God. However, this work will be unpaid whilst I complete my final two years of theological studies - hence this Go Fund Me page.

It is highly likely that either you or someone you know has suffered from cancer, or even still fighting the battle. I want to make use of the precious time I have left by loving and supporting patients and their families, as well as giving them hope when all can seem hopeless.
