Zachary's Medical Expenses

Story

This campaign is for my grandson, Zachary. He was born on October 27, 2015. He was born with fluid in his lungs. After the doctors checked him out came to find out he didn't have enough oxygen to breath on his own, so they put him on a ventilator. His foot started to turn purple, which resulted to a blood clot in his foot, so on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 they life flighted him to Texas Children Memorial in Houston Texas. They had him on sleeping meds, morphine and heparin. The doctors had mentioned that his foot might have to be amputated due to no oxygen going through his foot. After severals tests and days in the hopsital, the doctors came to a conclusion that he has Homozygous Protein C Deficiency. Both parents had above normal blood work done, so the doctors are very astounded of why Zachary has such low blood cells and lack of oxygen if the parents results are just fine. He will have to be on special medicine for the rest of his life. As for his foot, they're still not sure on what is going to be done about his foot.So therefore the funds raised will be used for Zachary and any medication he will need in the future and help for any medical needs or medical supplies that are not covered by his insurance.
