This is my yearly updated to show everyone where I stand. My MELD score is currently 24. When it gets to 35 is when I will definitely get my transplant. At 25 they will want me living a short distance from the hospital since going from 25 to 35 goes rather quickly.
This is being created to help raise funds to pay my medical bills associated with my upcoming liver transplant. This includes trips out of state to the transplant clinic and previous hospital stays (and surgeries). As of now I have raised $6,200 out of the $25,000. I am trying to raise . Over that timeframe I have had 3 surgeries and have spent all but $500. This was always planned. Have to keep the hospital happy.
