A warm light has shone in the darkness. Two nights ago, I wrote a letter asking for a Purim miracle. I wrote from my heart, and love came pouring in. This afternoon as I handed my license to security at Memorial Hospital, the guard asked me, “who is this Yuval because I have been here all day and 95% of the people coming in are here to see him. Is he some sort of holy person?”
Today, Hashem blessed us with a miracle. Because of you, the angels surrounding Yuval, we have met and surpassed our goal. With your help, Yuval now has the peace of mind that his family will be able to stay in their beautiful home. When Yuval and Meytal were told tonight that this was one piece they no longer have to worry about, they both cried with relief and a bit of joy.
I really do not know how to thank you. This 48 hour fundraiser is a testament to the ruach Yuval and his family have brought to our community. If you have made a pledge, please help us by fulfilling it as soon as possible so we can show Yuval his mortgage statement. With your permission, I plan to put additional dollars toward paying medical and other unforeseen bills, and hopefully a small amount of savings for the children’s future.
There are no words to express my gratitude for your love and support. The Torah teaches us that there is no greater tzedakah than caring for another in need. I only ask one more thing; in Yuval’s honor, please, live your best life.
