If you ever had the amazing opportunity to have met or ridden Krewe, you were luckily too have been around such a loyal companion, prideful in his work, an excellent beginner lesson horse & a phenominal trail horse that kept his riders safe and sure.

Krewe was sold to a horse meat dealer at the auction; severely malnourished,  neglected feet causing difficulty walking, carvings in his body, & a broken spirit. The sight of him when we rescued him from the slaughter holding pen was heartbreaking :(

Deep, thickened scars across his body tell the story of cruel intentions and abuse Krewe faced throughout his life. Despite the hardships, Krewe remained dedicated and committed to his owners and riders. Krewe's heroric & caring nature proved  essential by saving a friend from being hit by a car during a trail ride (her 1st time on him). This is just one of the many reasons why it is important for us to save his life.

We couldn't bare to think of him ending up on somebody's dinner plate, so we rescued him to give him another chance at the good life he deserves!!
