Yes! Achievement Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Riverdale, GA. The City of Riverdale is south of Atlanta in Clayton County. Clayton County’s graduation rate lags the state by roughly 10% at 69% in 2016. The key is to reach our youth before they enter high school and educate them on the importance of school and graduating.
Over the years, our communities have benefited from centers such as the YMCA and Boys and Girls Clubs which allows our youth to explore various types of sports, social activity and mentorships. Unfortunately, Clayton County does not have a YMCA nor a Boys and Girls Club. Yes! Achievement Center’s mission is to provide positive development programs designed to enhance abilities, resourcefulness, responsibility in making healthy choices, education, and ultimately to prepare our youth for productive opportunities on an “even playing field”.
Please consider donating to Yes! Achievement Center Summer Camp. Our organization relies on the generosity of individuals and businesses so we can in turn offer our youth a safe place to receive the necessary tools they are lacking today. We are in need of monetary donations for things such as paper, pencils, sporting equipment (of all kinds), books, arts and crafts, board games, learning games, computers, etc.
