WONKA NEEDS YOUR HELP SLO!

This Summer Kelrik is pleased to present Ronald Dalh's WILLY WONKA - Partner with us and help bring this BEAUTIFUL SHOW TO SAN LUIS OBISPO!  We are so committed to keeping the production quality up to give our actors a professional theater experience. 

OUR STORY
Kelrik has been dedicated to providing quality live theater in San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles for years. Our goal is to challenge, motivate, enlighten and captivate our audiences; to introduce young children to, and foster their appreciation of live theater; to evoke thought and change, both personally and within our society; and, of course to entertain. After the loss of our beloved home at Unity in 2013 we have diligently searched or a new place to call home.  However the process has been a little bumpy financially.

WHY DO WE NEED IT?
Producing Theatre is a huge undertaking and isn’t possible without the support of our community. While we at Kelrik are masters of making the most out of every dollar,  the cost at the PAC is extemeley high.

The average cost of putting on a mainstage production at the PAC for 2 weekends is over $45,0000?

YES, THAT'S RIGHT! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Only 40% of a theatre company’s income is achieved solely by ticket sales. For any theatre company to flourish and remain financially stable, it relies on donations from organizations, private donors, volunteers, partnerships, corporate sponsors, grants, and fundraising efforts. That means we have to rely on our community for support.
We need some financial LOVE from you in order to cover all the production costs including:
·      *Performance Rights and Music
·      *Theater and Rehearsal rental space
·      *Director, Choreographer, Musical Director
·      *Costumes, Props and Sets
·      *Lighting
·      *Promotion and Advertising

We are committed giving our actors and audience a professional theater experience.  Every dollar raised will go toward production costs for WILLY WONKA.

Our project affects the entire SLO  community…  especially YOU! Our project is so valuable to our funders in:
·      Providing a safe and inviting environment that induces creativity
·      Educating and training the audiences of tomorrow so theater continues to enrich our lives.
· Creating jobs


WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T MEET OUR GOAL?
WE KEEP GOING! It will take up to three years to gain and build a devoted base of supporters who will continue at attend a Kelrik Production.  We might not reach that potential crowd with this fundraising campaign. But, we will forge on!
