Williams Raising Autism Awareness

As you may have seen from William's Thriller routine, William loves to entertain and make friends and is VERY excitable
However, as much as he tries, William struggles to socialise in the traditional sense of the word. He is extremely friendly and will happily try and talk to anyone but other children will often turn their backs on him because they do not understand why he is acting the way he does
Autism is very misunderstood and we would like to raise awareness of Autism, spreading the message far and wide to show people how wonderful these traits can be
All the funds we raise will be distributed to various Autism charities and schools to assist with children with learning difficulties
I will also be attempting a new charity challenge in 2017, try to top my C2C BMX ride from 2015, to add to whatever is raised this year.
But if we can raise enough we will put it towards setting up an Autism friendly play centre where William and his brother Edward (who is also autistic) can learn social skills. A place where children with similar traits can come, feel welcome, be independant and have FUN FUN FUN

When we visit play centres William often say's he would love to be 'The Big Friend' or man in charge
On a few occasions he has said how he would love us to open up a play centre for him and Edward to make friends in and ultimately that is what we want to do - Create a place where they can socialise, learn and eventually (If they want to when they are older) run it themselves
We want to raise awareness for Autism and its beautiful ways and this would be a great start
We haven't set a target as money isn't the ultimate objective but anything we can raise will go towards helping those that need it.....one way or another
