Saving Sam

My name is Sam and I live at Wedrose Acres. I was found upside down in a trap. The lady where I lived trapped me and I was on the way to be killed. She was telling people I was mean and I had bitten her for the last time. I never once tried to bite her or anyone else.
It was my good luck that it was love at first sight when I was spotted by Tobein at Wedrose. I know Wedrose Acres is not a cat sanctuary, but I fit in just fine.

I've always had problems with my eyes, and daily medication used to help them a lot. But they've gotten really bad so Tobein took me to the Vet Hospital at the University of Illinois in Champaign. 
 

Many tests including a biopsy were completed. The doctors were all very nice and treated me with love.  They called recently and told Tobein my condition is serious...it is cancer. I am not sure what that is, but I can tell by the concerns of my Wedrose family that the news is not good. They said I have to have surgery, and that it's going to cost around $6,000. 
 
We are waiting for a date for my big day, but I know it's going to be soon. I really know now how special I am and that I am loved very much. I even over heard I am going to have my own gofundme . My best friend Tobein told me not to worry... no matter what, I was going to get help.

I really appreciate all she's doing for me, but I know she can't do it alone. I am hoping all of you can help... I hate to beg, but even if you could just help a little ($1-$5), any little bit would help Wedrose Acres with my treatment.
