We Love Kendahl
For those of you who do not know the Kings, they are incredibly soulful, genuine, loving people who always make you feel life is better when you’re around them. Brett and Kendahl have been happily married for over twenty years. They have two beautiful children, Tucker and Logan, both of them overachievers.
Today, we share the news that Kendahl’s long battle with breast cancer appears to be coming to an end. After more than 12 years of fighting the good fight, the time to rest is near, and approaching much faster than any one of us expected.
The past few weeks have been marred by a series of complications caused by the cancer that has now spread to her liver and bones. This has left Kendahl feeling severely fatigued, disoriented and uncomfortable. Steps have been taken to address the complications, but the signs seem clear. It could be sooner than any of us would like.
In recent days, the King family have been overwhelmed by the emotions that accompany this transition, by the outpouring of love and concern for Kendahl, and by the offers of help and support from so many.
Many people have asked how they can help. This is a great way to support the King family during this difficult time. Please consider donating. Any amount will help alleviate the financial pressure that they will experience due to still mounting unreimberesed medical costs and anticipated expenses for her transition. Immediately, the funds will allow the Kings some time and space to cope with this new reality.
