NC WWII Veteran Documentary Interviews

Donation protected
Our goal is to record high-quality digital video interviews of the remaining WWII veterans living in North Carolina. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer of these brave soldiers are still living, so we want to document their stories, memories and perspective on the war.

Funding will be used for camera and lighting equipment, editing software/time, and travel expenses to interview locations in North Carolina.

This is a non-commercial endeavor and we will post highlight updates here of the interviews as we conduct them. We hope to submit these interviews to film festivals, archive them for educational institution usage, and the news media, and cherished by family members as keepsakes.

We have identified 5 veterans for our first round of interviews:
- Three WWII veterans living in Greensboro, NC
- Two WWII veterans living in Fayetteville, NC

If you know a WWII veteran in North Carolina who is interested in being interviewed, please let us know. We'd love meet them!

NOTE: For every contribution over $100, we will send you the final, edited compilation of the interviews on DVD or provide an online link to it - your choice!

Thank you!
