WHS Spirit Squads to Orlando, FL!

The Westside High School Varsity Dance Team and Competition Cheerleading Squad have been invited to Orlando, Florida to participate in the Varsity Spirit Spectacular Parade Performance in Walt Disney World! We are incredibly excited for this wonderful opportunity and have been preparing for it all summer!
Unfortunately this trip is outside of our normal budget. Each athlete needs to come up with $1,800 in order to get to Orlando. The Walt Disney Parade will be held between December 1-4, 2016, so we need to raise the funds by then.
Cheerleaders and dancers at our school work together each year to not only bring spirit and pride to our community, but to display what true dedication looks like. Our girls come to practice at 6:30 a.m. every morning, even in the summer, to perfect their skills. Both teams continually place in high ranks both at summer camp as well as local and state competitions. These athletes work hard 12 months out of the year to support fellow school athletes and this trip would be a fantastic opportunuity for them to be rewarded for that committment and talent.
