The sweet little Yorkie is at bulkhead animal clinic receiving vet care- so far, he has fluids in him and tested negative for parvo. He ate a can of SD ID food and was able to keep that down. He got a bath and they groomed him to remove all the matted hair. More tests will be run today!
The 2 huskies are out of the shelter. The male has mange so he is starting treatment today. They both received baths and the female received light grooming to remove her matting. They will be s/n next week after all the blood work comes back.
The 3 white kittens were able to go into foster for bottle feeding. They are only 2 weeks old with no mama.
All in all, yesterday was a great day! So many animals saved that were suppose to go down.
Please share this fundraiser for homeless animals in kill shelters. I've been volunteering at a municipal shelter for nearly 3 years but after visiting another very rural shelter today, I realized I can't do this alone. Your donations will go to help sponsor animals who need medical care. 100% of the money will go to fund vetting for animals to go up for adoption. Please donate what you can... Even if it's a small amount. Many animals can go to a no kill rescue with sponsorship. Do you also have a warm heart for cold noses????
