A Wheelchair for Brittany

My name is Brittany, and I was born with Spina Bifida. It's a spinal cord birth defect. While I was born with the lucky ability of being able to walk, I was also the person with the unlucky ability to lose it all. Walking has become more difficult and painful, with weakness creeping in. While being in a wheelchair would help me get around, it doesn't sort the pain issue out - which is something we are persuing with a neurosurgeon now.

I've been out of volunteering duties (I work with ESE Kindergarteners) since the beginning of October. This wheelchair would help with every day mobility. It will also help my mom as it's very lightweight; she's my way around and with a light wheelchair she would be able to get it out of the back of the van with little trouble.
