High School Students Donate "Tipp Tiny Houses" to Veterans

I am extremely humbled and honored to announce that Veteran's Ananda has partnered with the students of the "Tipp Tiny House" program out of Tippecanoe High School in Tipp City, Ohio.

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of the students and staff in the "Tipp Tiny House" program, students in the Homebuilding II & III classes are leading the design and production of micro houses to be donated to Veteran's Ananda. Once completed, the micro houses will be transported to New York and placed on the property of Veteran's Ananda's Retreat and Homestead. They will house individuals who take part in the short-duration, high impact retreats and long-term post traumatic growth programs.

We are excited to develop this partnership with Tippecanoe High School, especially thier Tipp Tiny House program! To learn more please click on the link below!!!

Monetary Needs:
Recently, Veteran’s Ananda acquired property for our nonprofit homestead and retreat.

Only about $15,000 is needed for the remainder of the down payment for the property totaling 22 acres of land with waterfront property, 6 greenhouses, a house, a processing & barcoding facility, pastures, sheds/workshops, walk-in cold fridge, room for storefront, etc.
We secured a mortgage through the bank and are preparing now to get our additional licenses and permits in order to include organic, kosher, and vegan as well as campgrounds, events, and recreational permits.

Since we already have our DEA hemp license through NYS Agr & Markets, all we have left is to renew our USDA certifications and get our water to organic standards (simple fix).

Any additional funds will go to the tiny homes and services that we are providing veterans, first responders, and their families!!

Needs:
Donations: Donate and help support the veterans in our programs as they reclaim their lives and revitalize their future. No amount is too small.
· Start Up Funding – closing cost of property, mortgage and insurance payments, maintenance

Beyond Money:
· Farm Equipment/Supplies: Tractor, lawn mower, grain puller, seed transplanter, barn equipment, garden equipment, animals
· Business Supplies

Why We Exist:
Veteran’s Ananda Inc. is a 501(c)(3), independent, non-profit organization that utilizes traditional and non-traditional treatments and therapies; to assist with supporting, healing, and rehabilitating U.S. Armed Service Members, veterans, first responders, and their families from across the nation; so, they can live happy, productive, and fulfilling lives at home and in their communities.

Veteran’s Ananda is a homestead and retreat that utilizes traditional (clinical therapy, exposure therapy, group therapy, etc.) and non-traditional (i.e. acupuncture, yoga, equestrian, meditation, art, etc.) treatments and therapies to provide education, support, and care for armed service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. Veteran’s Ananda incorporates a structured, but self-paced and individualized approach to care and treatment, that also provides incentives and opportunities (i.e. jobs, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, educational benefits, etc.). The company utilizes certified professionals, such as clinicians and peer support staff, to create a treatment plan for each individual patient; this will establish the patient’s needs and wants, while captivating the patient’s passion and skills; to best serve them.

Veterans deserve a place to receive rest and relax as well as alternative programs and services to turn to, as viable treatment options, beyond what the Department of Veterans Affairs and public hospitals can provide. This includes receiving holistic care/treatment(s) like: yoga, acupuncture, art therapy, equestrian therapy, dietician and nutritional classes, and the right to use botanical medicines as an alternative to prescription drugs.

It is our mission to improve the quality of life for armed service members, veterans, first responders, their families, and inevitably the community at large through education, support, and care. Since Veteran’s Ananda inception, we have served the community by providing educational services and resources on post-service issues; and by providing support and care to fellow armed service members, veterans, first responders, and their families with post-service issues.

The Company has successfully been serving the community through our website (www.VeteransAnanda.org), through our social media pages to include FaceBook and our Facebook support groups (General Group, Veteran’s Group, Caregiver Group, Military Sexual Trauma Group), by attending numerous business and educational events, and connecting with other organizations and entities to fulfill our mission.

Our Mission:
Founded in 2018 by Sarah Stenuf, our mission is to provide free, world class, medical, psychological, and spiritual care to U.S. Armed Service Members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Our Vision:
Through short-duration, high-impact retreats and long-term post traumatic growth programs, Veteran’s Ananda will revolutionize a model of healing that integrates evidence-based therapies, a safe and peaceful space, with unparalleled customer service; to improve physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic well-being for our nation’s armed service members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Cause:
Veteran’s Ananda (the “Company”) was founded in January of 2018 with the intention of helping to improve the quality of life for armed service members, veterans, first responders, their families and inevitably the community at large. The Company will accomplish its mission by providing support and care through a variety of services and programs. A few examples of programs and services the Company intends to offer are: support groups, clinical treatment programs, educational programs, recreational activities, family care services, and child care services. The Company’s programs and treatments will be evidence-based and scientific based; geared towards studying post-traumatic growth and aimed at targeting issues such as: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), military sexual trauma (MST), substance abuse, homelessness, and domestic violence.

It is the mission, duty, and purpose of Veteran’s Ananda to coordinate and provide retreats and programs for armed service members, veterans, first responders, and their families; in order to provide them with the rest and relaxation they deserve; while creating much more needed awareness of post-service issues, like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); and to inevitably eradicate veteran suicide due to post-service issues, by addressing these issues on a local and global level through education.

The right to adequate care is realized when every man, woman and child, alone or in community with others, always have the physical and economic access to adequate care or means for its procurement.
