Blessing Bags for the Homeless

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN! In an effort to help homeless men in our community, in the previous years we passed out "blessing bags".  These bags were filled with daily essentials (and snacks) that we tend to take for granted. In 2014 we were able to bless 300 HOMELESS MEN WITH A BAG! This year we are doing this for BOTH men and women and we would like to set a new goal of 1,000 blessings bags.

We are asking the community to commit to donating AT LEAST ONE COMPLETE bag. If you are unable to donate a bag but still want to support this effort, we are raising funds to purchase the items to make the blessing bags as well.

Blessing Bags will be filled with NEW, UNUSED, NOT EXPIRED, NON-ALCOHOL items such as:

Gallon size Ziplock bags
chap stick
packages of tissues
toothbrush and toothpaste
comb
soap
hotel size shampoos
trail mix
granola bars
crackers
pack of gum
band aids
pair of socks
coins or predetermined dollar amount, say 5.00 (could be used to make a phone call, or purchase a food item) *optional*
hand wipes
razor and shaving cream
