Hello there!
My wife and I, are a Trans-Couple living in the much contested, United Kingdom. We are desperately trying to raise money for life changing surgeries
I have sat for hours, days even, trying to come up with some witty yet powerful message to ask complete strangers to have sympathy and take action to help us reach what seems like an unimaginable goal. There are so many other appeals that are far more deserving than us, I know this but it doesn’t change the fact that without the kindness, understanding and support of people like you, we will “never” reach our goals and as a result, will never have the opportunity to live the life everyone deserves!
So where do we stand on the whole subject of fundraising? Well to be honest it’s a terrifying prospect to lay yourself at the mercy of others and too have your life and issues laid bare for all too see but there is a silver lining to all this. We get to meet you. Every supporter is a friend just waiting to be met. I know its cliché but it’s true. If you have bothered to help us, no matter how small, it shows you actually care and that, more than anything, makes our lives that little bit more bearable.
There is to much hatred and intolerance in this world when all we want to do, ALL OF US, is live our lives and look towards the future ☺️
No matter who you are or where you come from, it is always worth taking a step forward and leaving that which holds you back, far, far behind you!
