Thibodeaux Family Fund

UPDATE: 
I got the worse news anyone could get this morning. I looked at my phone and there were 8 missed calls and several voicemails from Louisiana. I opened Voice, and read the first translation from my MOM and my heart sank. 

At 3am CST time in Louisiana, My Dad, John K. Thibodeaux, passed away at Acadia-St. Landry Guest Home. 

Now begins a difficult journey for me and the Family. I start the process of going home and sending final farewells and loves to a great man, a great role model, someone who cared for me, someone who stood by my side on so many occasions, a great man that I hold near and dear to my heart, My Dad

I have always been pretty self sufficient ever since getting out of the Army. After serving 13 years in service and two tours in Iraq I think I've been able to tend to my needs  without much help. But I need a hand on this one.

I was born in Southern Louisiana and never really had the money for all the fancy things of the world. 

The last year has been a really tough time for me and the Thibodeaux family. I came home from Seattle back in March of 2016 due to my Father, John Kaywood Thibodeaux, who at the time was in ICU with Pneumonia. He was on full life support with tubes and wires and all that stuff. I hadn't seen him, or any of my family in about ten years. 

When you live in a high priced economy living from pay check to pay check, it's hard to foot out the costs of flying, much less taking time off from work, not to mention that I am in the group of people out there that has had their rent also go up recently, so that takes a larger chunk out of my finances. Luckily during March I was able to get a ticket, and was able to see my Dad. I had just gotten my Tax returns, so I was able to support my visit while I was not at work.

Your donations will be used to help me get home and will help me cover any out of pocket expenses during my visit there.
Any remainder funds will be donated back to My Family, My Mom and my 2 Sisters to help them cover any Funeral costs, Burial costs, After care expenses, etc...
