Theia Taylor Cancer Treatment Fund

Donation protected
Hello Friends. I am Theia Taylor's granddaddy, Daniel Taylor. I'm asking for help for cancer treatment for my 4 yr old granddaughter, Theia Taylor. On Friday, December 11, Brady and Lindsay took Theia to the hospital on because of a bad tummy ache. By Saturday morning the 12th, we learned that Theia's bad tummy ache was caused by kidney cancer. On Monday, December 14th, they removed a softball sized tumor and Theia's left kidney. This cancer is called Wilms Tumor. It affects mostly children and has a high survival rate. Diagnosis comes in the form of stages. There are stages 1-5. 1 being the slightest, 5 being the worst. Theia's diagnosis is stage 3, however genetic marker testing dictates that she be treated as if the more agressive stage 4 exists. Theia is done with radiation treatment, and is now undergoing aggressive chemotherapy. Theia begins aggressive inpatient treatments today, February 2, 2016.

This ordeal comes on the heals of Asher (Brady and Lindsay's newborn son) being born 6 weeks premature in late July. Asher was born just over 5 pounds, and spent 10 days in NICU. This also meant Brady and Lindsay had to do the same, with feedings every 3 hours.  I'm pretty sure neither Brady nor Lindsay have had a good night's sleep since July. Then this comes in December. Asher is growing and is healthy.

Brady and Lindsay have good insurance some of the treatment is covered, however they have a high deductible, and a lot of the treatments and expenses are not covered. An example is that today Brady and Lindsay have to be with Theia in the hospital for 5 days. They cannot work during this time. There are second opinions needed on some things that aren't covered. As we all know, the entire health insurance industry is in serious flux, and we're caught in the middle of it. So, we're asking for your help.

How can you help? There are 3 ways. First, donate. Second, share the link on your facebook page, and ask all your facebook friends to do the same. The more shares we get, the more help we get, so please donate, and share the link as often as possible. Third, and I cannot express how important this is, pray for Theia and family. This is by far the toughest thing any of us has ever faced.

Every dollar raised will go to help with treatment. We thank you for your help, your donations, and your prayers.
