Please help

In July of 2014 our family’s normal drastically changed. The father, husband and bread winner of the family was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Surgery was necessary to save his life. The 9.5 hour surgery was a success but it also meant a change in the dynamic of our family.  I stepped up, working both a full and part time job.  Since my husband is disabled he cannot work leaving me as the sole provider for the family.  We have worked very hard to overcome the new challenges we face, financially and emotionally.  Since my husband now has physical limitations as well he cannot help when it comes to repairs, leaving me to try and learn as I go.  I am trying to fix things as they arise but at this moment it seems like there are more problems than I am able to afford or fix.  The two biggest needs we have are the roof and our air conditioner. The roof was damaged in the recent hail storms. Apparently the insurance policy I purchased wasn’t adequate and left us with not even enough to cover materials or removal.  The air conditioner is holding on by a thread and the technician has replaced parts but fears it won’t last long.  The duct work is eroding causing leaks in the system and energy increasing our electric bill dramatically. We have had two major appliances fail just this week. We have held garage sales but it barely makes a dent.  My husband cannot get overheated or there could be medical complications.  The goal amount is set high because this is the amount that it would take to cover the two most important things.  It is my hope that I could just get some things repaired.
