The Violet Hour

Hi Friends,
Great News! The Violet Hour has been selected from among submissions by numerous applicants, to be a part of the Rochester Fringe Festival in Rochester, New York on September 14, 2018. This is an unbelievable opportunity and I need your support to make The Violet Hour the must see show at the Festival.
While I am excited with the chance to be seen by new and broader audiences, there is substantial cost in producing the show. And I need your help to make it spectacular! By contributing, you will be in on a ground breaking musical production that you have supported from the beginning. And I am so grateful that you have and want you to remain on this journey with me. Below I have detailed the expenses for the show and hope that you will continue to help the Violet Hour to launch to unprecedented success!

The Violet Hour explores the career of internationally acclaimed soprano Leontyne Price and how she rose to prominence during the 50’s into the 60’s, despite segregation and discrimination which was prevalent in America. The Violet Hour traces Ms. Price’s journey from the early beginnings of her career up to her final performance of the opera Aida at the Metropolitan Opera House in 1985.
