After a wild roller coaster of health issues Including ITP, MAS, and Lupus. Carys Mullinax is giving back to Children's Hospital of Knoxville TN.  While Carys was in the hospital between 1/4/2016 and 2/8/2016 she started a small fundraiser to gather some blankets for the cancer patients at children's to have a little something of their own while receiving treatments. Once Carys got out she started raising money to buy toys for the young children at the hospital. Since she has been out of the hospital she has been able to raise a little over $6,000 and gave the kids one amazing Christmas! Her goal is to raise over 100,000 to give back to the kids at Children’s Hospital of Knoxville TN. All money raised goes to toys for the kids! She always wants to give the kids something while they are there. Not just for Christmas. So let’s raise some money for Childrens Hospital of Knoxville TN!
Carys wants to give a  special thank you to her angel now in heaven her grandma, Patti Funakoshi, for showing her how to be a true fighter. She was always giving back even when she had nothing to give. She always put others first. Carys always looked up to her and showed her so much! So she knew when she was put in the hospital Carys  wanted to do something for all the other kids there. In addition she wants to raise money for the Oncology department at Childrens hospital.
