Help the Berry Girls

Donation protected
Caitlyn and Hayley Berry lost their mother Heidi Berry on April 6, 2015, less than 3 years after the passing of their father Steven Berry. Their mother, Heidi, was a teacher. Heidi was raised in La Palma, CA, graduated from Valley Christian High School in 1994, and later received her Bachelors degree in Teaching from Cal State Fullerton. Heidi and Steve were raising their family in Arlington, TN, but Heidi moved back to her hometown of La Palma with her children in 2013 after her husbands untimely death. While Heidi struggled with the loss of her husband, her daughters continued to be of supreme joy in her life. Not only was Heidi passionate about teaching, but she was an active parent in her childrens’ lives and their schools. It was through her hard work and involvement that many members of our small community were able to meet Heidi, and came to know her as the devoted and caring person she was. With the loss now of both their mother and father, Caitlyn and Hayley are thankfully in the care of their grandmother, Shirley. These two girls at 11 and 16 have lost both parents, and the responsibility of caring for them has been placed in the hands of their loving grandmother at a time in her life when she must also care for her ailing husband. We need to come together as friends and as a community to help this family in need. Any donation you make goes straight to Shirley Lack to help care for her two granddaughters.
