Support for Lucas Winarski
Treatment and doctor costs are the tip of the iceburg. There are so many other costs such as gas, hotels, travel, food and missed time from work that are piling up fast. Any donation would be much appreciated!
We love you Lucas, time to kick cancer's butt!!!
All of a sudden Luc's ankle tumor showed signs of growth and spots are lighting up in his hips and chest. We will know more once the MRI happens on Feb 12th, but for now doctors have upped his daily chemo meds and have planned an IV chemo day on Thursday Feb 1st.
The community of Gilberts has come together to show support for Lucas and it has been amazing. The village wrote a message for him on the town sign and our neighborhood is lighting up their houses yellow as well.
Right now we are in need of help paying towards our insurance deductible and for Luc's prescriptions in the upcoming weeks. Anything would be greatly appreciated and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -The Winarski Family.
As you know Lucas is making great progress, but we're not out of the woods just yet. Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated!
Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts!!! You have no idea how much your help is appreciated. Not having to worry about the financial burden helps us concentrate fully on our little man and get him the best care possible. ❤️❤️❤️
Lucas had his 2nd round of chemo yesterday and is feeling ok this morning. Staying home from school to rest today. He was SO brave yesterday and I am SO proud of him. Your donations have helped us TREMENDOUSLY and we are SO thankful for all of the support. It feels amazing to be blessed with such caring and thoughtful friends and family. We love you all!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much everyone!!! We have to wait for scheduling to call and confirm, but it looks like Lucas should start his treatments this coming up Friday at Rush. Hopefully just one long day in the hospital getting mess by IV and then home to sleep in our own beds. We've got this!!!
