Lily was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) on May 6th, 2014, with no prior signs. This is a disease that is in desperate need of a cure. It is impossible to remove a tumor in this area and we don’t know what causes a diffuse pontine glioma.
Lily is so smart, funny, and loves life. She won her first poetry essay at 5 years old. She is an animal lover from chihuahuas, unicorns, owls, monkeys, and even worms. She loves taking photos, making videos, dancing, and doing silly impressions. Lily is always ready to show you a new trick, tell you a joke, and sing you a song. You are guaranteed a good laugh and big smile. She loves to entertain all ages and she is bright star to her entire family and friends. She is loved by so many, especially her aunts, uncles, many cousins, and grandparents.
This fundraising is to support Lily and her family. This money will be used for expenses associated with medical care, travel, and Lily.
Going forward, this journey is very new for us all. Lily will be traveling to PA, MD, and others for treatments. Since this is very new, the treatment plans are still to be determined.
