John and Mannix, team 4040A from Manchester NH's St. Joseph Regional Jr. High School, qualified for the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship after winning the teamwork challenge and the Design Award at the NH/VT State Championship. They are raising funds to help offset the travel costs to go to Worlds, which is held in Louisville, KY on April 28-30, 2019. Any and all support from their friends and family will help tremendously - thank you so much!

Yesterday Pembroke Academy held one last VEX IQ scrimmage before the World Championship and Teams 4040A & 23275A took first place in the teamwork challenge.

John and Mannix will spend the next two weeks practicing their driving skills and game strategy. They are very excited for Worlds!

Team 4040A's robot design has been improved upon and completely revamped color-wise. (Mannix and John have named it "Bumblebee", so the new look is all yellow and black.) It is now more robust than ever, it moves faster, and it no longer eats up batteries so quickly - so it still has plenty of power to hang with ease at the end of the one minute matches.
